I went to Boston last year too and it was the most fun experience of my life. We got to spend a day shopping/walking around the city of Boston by ourselves and we spent time at the beach relaxing. There was definitely a lot of work and long days, but it was a great experience. Don't forget to bring a beach towel, bathing suit, sunscreen, etc. and definitely get to know the people in your group while you are there because you will spend a lot of time with them and it will be a great chance to make friends.
And don't forget food (if you like to snack) because you will have some downtime in your room and it will be nice to have some snacky stuff

i went to boston last summer and it was the best experience of my life. you don't really appreciate and understand how amazing it is until it's time to leave and you realize you will probably never see the people again. i miss everyone so much and i will never forget my experience at nylf.

go with an open mind and be willing to meet new people. definitely bring some food for your dorm. the best part for me was went we visited brown and went into the anatomy lab
