I've been wondering if anyone is preparing themselves for this. Like are you reading Medical books or mags. I don't really know too much about the medical field, I just though tthat this would be a great expiererence. Is there anyway to prepare myself?

Sorry this is so long to. Smile

Thanks! That's good to hear. I was just nervous that I was going to be like dumbfounded going into it. But to hear that you yourself didn't prepare much, then most likely other kids didn't either. Thank you! Smile

Just reading this convo has made me a little more confident. I thought we needed to be walking textbooks so it's great that there is less pressure. Smile

wow I can't believe that almost no one knows anything about the medical field do any of you have health science technology (hst) classes at your schools? you get to go to a hospital or local doctors office in the second one. It is pretty fun and I learned a lot you guys should ask your counselors

its a class where at my school your in it for four periods a day for your junior and senior year.... the first year of class you learn like CPR and all this other medical stuff and then your senior year like three months into the year at my school you get your STNA and get to go to work the last part of the day instead of going to school it takes up alot of time but i mean its really good for people who are thinking of going into the medical field but at my school the people who go into those programs just dont want to have to take regular classes
