Are we roomed with ppl from our groups are just randomly so we have different people in our room than our groups?

I'm pretty sure that you are roomed by last name but your groups are totally random. Your roommate will 99.99% not be in your group. I didn't know of anybody who was roommates with someone in their dorms. A big point of this thing is thing is to meet totally new people.

Rooming is selected 100% randomly, this is to give you an opportunity to meet new people. My last name starts with D and I was roomed with someone of the last Name starting with P
