How much money should you bring if you want to buy more than just lunch?

I guess that that would depend on what you plan on buying. I think I had $200 in travelers checks and probably close to $80 more in cash. I came home with quite a bit. Budget about $100 for lunch. If you're flying you will need money for the shuttle, and money if you want to buy any food in the airport. Try to look at the schedule for the city you're going to. If you're going to Boston you will probably have a chance to do some serious shopping in Quincy Marketplace. I'd recommend that you have at least $200 though.
