Okay, I am so nervous about going to the the 1st session in Atlanta. Is anyone else going to this particular one? I'm nervous about the clothing, trips, the socials, and especially the *farewell dance*!! Does anyone have any tips for me? Any and all would be appreciated.
hey I'm going to that session too =] I wouldn't worry about it too much I think its gonna be a lot of fun but yeah the clothing is my biggest problem lol
yall are gonna have soooooooo much fun!!!!!! i went to the ATL last year and it was the best summer ever!
a few tips. dont be nervous when you get there just talk to everyone. By just throwing yourself right in helps you get adjusted alot faster. The socials are nothing special most people dont go. I did and they were alright we just went to get free food. one night they didnt even do what was planned for the social. The farewell dance was so much fun. i thought it was just gonna be some lame slow dance the whole time but it is NOT!
oh and if the dfo rooming like they did last year girls need to pray your last name is at the BEGINING of the alphabet so you get to stay in the sororities. Ha if you get stuck in McTyrie Hall (thats where i was) bring a blanket! you have to keep it cold or it stinks like mildew lol.
Again yall are gonna have so much fun! get ready for the summer of a lifetime

sweet i'm also interested in genetics and infectious disease, neurology, cardiology, immunology(sp?) and such yeah i hope it helps me decide too =] i think i'm gonna do a double specialty in infectious disease and then one of the above i just don't know which lol
