I was wondering if you recommend bringing a digital or disposable camera??

Bring whichever you're most comfortable with. If you bring a disposable camera, I'd write your name on it, since those all look alike. If you bring a digital, keep a close eye on it always

when can we take pictures? can we take them in the MED sessions, or only on fun days and casual events?

You can use cameras on the fun days, at the dance, at meal times, other down time, and also you may be able to at some of the med sessions. I know there were a couple times during them that people were taking pictures. I pretty much just kept my camera with me constantly
