I went to DC session 1 and there is a store that you can buy food in right next to the dorms. It's called Hoya Snaxa. Also, there is a place called the Leavey Center where there is a little grocery store. The Georgetown bookstore is also located there. The walk is a little bit of a hike from the dorms, but not too bad. I brought my own food, and I also bought stuff from the stores.
I also went to NYLF/Med in D.C. but at the second session. Besides what was mentioned above there were also vending machines in Reynolds Hall across from the entrence to Kennedy. Most of them only accept quarters so bring lots of them.

I was in Chicago at UIC. We had vending machines in the dorms, and there was a GREAT student center connected to our building with internet access, lounges, the cafeteria, a convenience store, and conference rooms where we had lots of NYLF activities. Check with people who have been to the place your going!
I attended the forum in Los Angeles(UCLA) and There were vending machines in the dorms and then if you wanted real food, you were allowed to go to the student union where there was a Jamba Juice, Taco Bell, and many other fast food places as well as a convience store where they sold all kinds of food!!
I have a lot of food allergies (wheat/gluten, dairy, and soy) so should I plan on bringing a lot of my own food to the forum especially for breakfast and stuff? (I'm going to Boston)
If you have food allergies I would definitely recommend you have some snacks on hand that you can eat. I went to Boston, and I remember there was a pretty big variety of food, but I don't remember exactly what kinds of varieties of food they have.
