I have gone to a lot of campsites and hotels. Personally, I would bring a pair of shower shoes-just in case- because you can never know what you will find! Their is nothing worse than leaving with a fungus growing on your foot, in my opinion!

That is so cool! Has your family always done that kind of stuff or did you just start? How old were you when you started being adventure-girl? I am totally impressed! Eek

Well, my family didnt do any of my adventures, they were sweating in NJ when i was at camp in maine. July 14, 2008 i arrived at the camp. which was a monday. And my first Adventure was canoeing the Aziscohaus Lake in Maine. it was a 4 day trip total of ~40 miles. I had a team with me of girls ranging from 13 -18. I was the 2nd youngest. So... Pretty much i was forced into becoming the "Adventure Girl"...
the camp i was at was called
" Summit Achievement"

Google it.

Thats really neat - I would love to be able to do that stuff at least once. Its so hard fro me to do all of those different things when I compete professionally. I am gone almost every weekend and about half of the weekdays each year! No real time to try all of those different things!

Probably not - How come you had to go (don't answer if you don't want to) it's different hearing someone who is going into medicine that had to go to a camp like that. That is probably a really good experiance to take with you!

HorseLover,
I was actually sent there because i was defiant to authority, and mu psychiatrist wanted me to reform. My parents agreed with him, overall it was to turn my life around before i did more stupid things.

Jessica, Yeah im going to the 21st, i dont know if I can meet up,Im in NJ, and my Mom is disabled so i cant really go anywhere unless my dad is driving but hes working alot.

I hate psychiatrists! I went through this time when I didn't sleep for about a week straight - I mean NONE! They sent me to a shrink whos said I was too stressed, but she couldn't find out how. The things I added to my schedule were things I enjoyed and anything I hadn't added I couldn't exactly give up. I think I just had some sort of long term virus but my parents still are on my case-goodness!
