I was nominated by my english teacher whose son went to one of the forums [not sure which one]. I said I would like to do that and without telling me she nominated me and a few others. I was the only one who unfortunately could attend but I'm looking forward to it.

So, who nominated you?

I didn't know college board could nominate people, I thought it had to be teachers. I was nominated by my Global History 2 teacher.

my german teacher nominated me. i really don't know why. maybe its because i said one day in class that i was going to take over the world...

or maybe it is because i said that my life goal was to get the nobel in literature, and he though i meant peace.

not sure how I was nominated since I don't have any teachers, so I'm pretty sure it had something to do with collegeboard and my marvelous PSAT scores, j/k.

What I don't understand is how nylf, from looking at the scores, can tell that a person is interested in attending one of these deals.
And why do they just make the jump? For example, there was no way for the nylf to know that I was at all interested in political science or any of that from looking at my psat scores. . .*shrugs* Beyond me.
