Hey all! My name is Sarah, and I live in a small town in Berkshire County, MA. I'm heavily involved in Mock Trial, Drama, and Choir, and enjoy Rock Climbing and Kyaking. Now that the introduction is out of the way...

I am so unbelievably pumped for this trip. Words cannot describe it. I love meeting new people and the simulation sounds amazing.

And since it seems to be the cool thing to do, here's my MySpace. Click.

Okaaaay. I think I understand what this means. But, I'd prefer just a run down of what a person is for or against. So much more simpler, if a bit more lengthy, lol.

Well it's not always that clear cut, some people could be pro-life but still negative on the social axis because of other beliefs they have.

You appear to be fairly centrist, perhaps a Democrat? If you want a better idea in less words check where they rank political figures, they have a couple in the analysis page and on the left there is a link to a US 2004 Election one. So for instance you place near...

Paul Martin and John Kerry...

I think I did the test thing wrong. Because one, I'm not a Democrat and two, I hate John Kerry. lol. More of a pro-gun, limited government, pro-war, anti-Michael Moore kind of person. Is too lazy to type the rest. lol.

All well. I might just be more democratic than I thought. -cries- OR, maybe I just didn't undersatnd half the questions I was being asked and picked random answers. >_<

Im not pro much of anything, I am however, really sick of hearing about abortion from rednecks and femminists. New abortion stance: Against abortion, but for killing babies, that way everyone loses and I win!

Random driveby: the political compass shows where you are belief by belief, but you can still agree with a different party. I'm not a very good example of that, being as I have extreme positive views, and I'm an extreme conservative, but I'm sure you get my drift. And also, about the whole thing of John Kerry being positive. Most of the politicians these days are very centrist and it's quite difficult to distinguish their differences. They variance is so minute that it causes so much disagreement within our country.
Also, something else about the political compass: it truly changes depending on your mood. Mine varies about 2.5 points either direction depending on how I'm feeling.

PRO-WAR.
PRO-LIFE.
PRO-CHRISTIANITY.
PRO-USA.

Hello Everyone.
I'll be attending the forum in February from 21-26. Looking forward to it, but a bit unsure about what to expect. It's cool to meet all of you. I've been checking in the forums and watching the discussion and got my account the other day. Not quite sure how I was nominated for this Forum, but REALLY looking forward to it.

About me. I'm a Junior, homeschooled and I also do online school. I'm "into" reading, writing, schoolwork, chess, etc.

Did that political compass and not quite sure why the results turned out the way they did. Probably my problem was more along the lines of Ranger's problem. :P

Anyway, if anyone got any cool books to read up on for the Forum, I'd love to hear about it.

Looking forward to getting to know you all! if I had a myspace it would go here: . If I had Xanga it would go there too. ;-)

The Political Compass scores trend to run along the line x = y (plus or minus 1) and today's liberals score both negative and conservatives generally are positive. Rarely (an exception being Caroline Leigh) are positive scores above 5.00. So... yea.

Welcome to the Boards, everybody!

Yeah, that's what it seems like from what I've read of folks. Caroline Leigh's was pretty high. I like her little PRO-ETC, sig. It's cool. Hmm, that info you gave about the compass was interesting. I think I should probably try that again. Big Grin
