The compass is fun and it does take a little thinking when you take it. Sometimes, when I'm feeling malicious, I put the real extreme answers on stuff, and it turns out high. But yes, I am the exception to the rule, so when you compare your score to mine...well, don't. And thanks about my signature.

Really? That's great. You must be '89, then, Nick's Name. I'm generally used to hanging out with 17, 18 year olds, but I was kind of hoping there'd be someone out there close to my age. . . and there is!You're a Junior, too?
I'm 15. >_<

Welcome Jess and Jamie Offman! Cool to see people on here. Jamie: You're from Arlington in Washington State?

Cool to see you all on. LOoking forward to meeting everyone there!

Yeah, Nick's Name, I know what you mean. I'm hoping I'm not the only homeschooler too. Any other homeschoolers out there? Or are the rest of you forced to sit in class all day? ;-)

Hey,
Is being home school fun? I go to two different high schools that are public... sort of. One is but the other is not really public, but public kids go there for half the day. It is hard to explane over a computure.
I am so ready for this trip it will be fun and s good way to learn more about the governmet. have a good day! Big Grin

KateC - as i said, i am not homescooled, but my cousins are. They go to different parents house with other kids though sometimes so it's kind of like a mini school i guess.

Is that was yours is like or do you just go to school online ?

ah, they must do a co-op. That's a fun way to do it!
no, my regular homeschooling is just regular, if homeschooling could be called regular. I teach myself my various subjects, and my parents grade them. I turn in papers to my dad at the end of the week. I keep track of my studies, file my transcripts and things like that.I mostly homeschool myself.
But I also do online school. So, for my 3 online classes I have to log into the school, email my assignment to the teachers, check the gradebook online. I also have chatting/forums/email system on my school. So, yeah, it's like that. Big Grin

To answer *wertis--S,W,CC*'s question: Yes, being homeschooled is really fun. You don't have to spend an hour in class listening to a teacher drone on about various boring subjects, but you can just take the textbook and learn it. Also, you can focus more on the subjects you like. You don't have to waste time on the bus. I could go on, but short asnwer is: yes, it's great! Like I can go to this conference and not get marked "missing" for ten days; we'll just orient my school so that I get enough done before I leave, or else add on an extra week to the end of school.

Anyway, your school situation sounds interesting. I hadn't heard of people going to TWO different public schools. Is that because one of them is a charter school, or has better equipment for your studies?

The second school I go to has better equipment for the field I am interested in the most yes. There is only about 15 too 20 kids in each class but you stay in that one class for three hours. That one class counts as three credits each semester. That class is my favorite of any class I have ever had. So I go to my regular school for three hours and then to the second place called Sno-Isle.
