If you pick Quantico I think you do. Ask Caroline Leigh.

I everybody, my name is Samantha. I'm from a small town in Oregon and I don't usually use the computer so, I'm kinda nervous using this.

Anyway, I'm a senior this year and I love to rock climb although I'm not really that great at it.

Hey Samantha. Rock climbing is fun, I actually have an indoor rock climbing place not too far from my town so I go a couple times a year with friends.

Anyway, I hope to see you in Washington.

22 days to go.

Hey Nick, where is the gym. I climb at an indoor gym that's about an hour from where I leave. I also do a little outdoor climbing with a club I am president for at my high school. Its fun to train new climbers.

Also, thanks for responding, I wasn't quite sure if I'd done this correctly.

You did fine, you actually type much better than most people on the internet. Big Grin

Anyway, I'm from NY so I don't think we go to the same gym but that's cool that you get to go do outdoor climbing, the only time I get to do that is at a summer camp I go to in upstate New York.

Hey Nick, you're right. I don't think we go to the same gym. Thanks for the typing compliment, like I said before I don't get on the computer very often and this is the first time I have ever typed on anything like this.
Other than that, are you psyched to be going to the Forum? I'm a little nervous myself. I have never flown in a plane all by myself and I've never been on the east coast.

Yeah, I'm pumped. I live on the east coast, and have been to Washington with my family as a tourist, but I have never flown by myself or anything either. Provided the travel part goes smoothly, I expect this will be a blast.

Nick, you said just what I was going to say!Stole my thunder, you did. Oh well.
Hey Samantha, nice to meet you. It's going to be fun. And Washington DC is a great city, so don't worry too hard about that.
But as Nick said. . .if the travel goes well, it will be fun! My first time flying alone as well. . .hey, we'll probably have some great travel stories to share! ;-D The moments of panic, the moments of confusion, sudden claustrophobia attacks, and all that good stuff. :P

Nice to meet you too Kate. I'm hoping that I won't fall asleep between flights. I stop in Texas for like two hours at...sometime early in the morning Smile All and all you're right; we're going to have stories to tell.

Ah! A blonde haired rock climber from Oregon? Amazing! I used to live in West Linn, Oregon. Right outside of Portland. And I'm blonde. And I rock climb. And my initials are SAM, which is kind of like Samantha. By the by, my name is Sarah. Nice to meet you.

I've been flying since I was a tiny little thing, but this will be my first time flying alone. Granted, the drive to the airport is longer than my flight, but the experience will be new. I'm actually flying out the saturday before the forum to visit a friend at American University. Woo!

Anyway, can't wait to meet you all in person!

Nice to meet you too Sarah a.k.a SAM SmileI live in Albany, south of Portland. I've heard of some great rockclimbing gyms up in Portland. But I haven't been. I have climbed at an indoor gym called the Crux in Eugene and I've climbed at OSU. And of course, outside, my favorite kind.

Hey Sarah, nice to meet you! Yeah, I think my first trans-atlantic flight was when I was 4 years old. . .so I've also been doing this for a long time, but not alone before. Hey, I'm flying out early, too.
That's so cool that you two do the same things...
