Hey, I figured since it looks like I'm the first person on here going to the 3-8 session, I might as well make the discussion for it. I'm Steven, and live in Jacksonville, Florida.
How is Massachusets in the same area as Maryland... or am I just forgetting my North-Eastern geography. But I could swear there was a couple of states between 'em.
I'm Matias Valero, flying down from Eau Claire, WI. I was born in Minneapolis, but I'm actually Spanish.. if that makes sense. I'm going to be a junior this year, and I'm totally pumped about the Forum. I was wondering about a couple things, though. First, how much research have you guys been doing about the East Congo region? From other Forum's posts, it sounds like there isn't much you have to do, but its best to be prepared, no? Just wondering what you all have been up to. Also, I read somewhere that there's a dance at the end of the forum. This is completely awesome. Dancing is simply the best way to unwind, and I love it. If any of you do, too, shout out!
Peace Matias

I've done no research. I figure I can wing it from general knowledge of Africa. Or I may actually do a little research. Sounds like the dance thing'll be fun.
