Let's just say, don't lie - to anyone - it has really dumb consequences. Needless to say, I am very excited for this whole trip. And I am excited to meet everyone. I'll get back on here tomorrow after school probably... Peace!
i have been doing some research, just for some basic background knowledge. does any one know if the dance is semi-formal or casual? another note, how cold is d.c. in october? i have only been in spring! and carry-on luggage, are we still on a no liquid diet (with the exeption of 4oz of medication)?

Liquids are still prohibited. Here's the link to the TSA page listing the prohibited items and stuff. And if you go clicking around you can find out just about anything you need to know. They even have a little database on how long it takes to get through security checkpoints at various airports. So how are yall getting there?
to answer the question about how cold it gets in DC... i live in maryland, it will probably be cool outside by then. if that helps any... just watch the weather the week before...
Has anybody filled out the site experience thing yet? There are like 24 options. I cant wait until the forum... its gonna be fun. what time is everybody arriving on october 3rd? because Im driving there and i dont wanna get there to early an be like the only one there.
I completed the whole site experience thing, but after I finally ranked them 1-24 (...yeah), it just decided to tel me that there was an error in something and my whole entry had to be redone.. so, hows everyone? Here in Wisconsin its getting chilly, too, so I guess we'll have to see how things turn out.

Oh dang, that sucks. It's still hot here. And sunny. And there's a hurricane out there somewhere. Which means that it's just another late Florida Summer.
sorry if this sounds really stupid, but how do you fill out the site experience thing? where is it? sorry if thats a dumb question, but im blonde so its okay once in a while

go to www.nylf.org/did and on the right hand side it says enrolled student login. click on that and type in the password then under fall 2006 it says site experience. or just follow this link and type in your information: http://www.nylf.org/did/siteselection.cfm

Hello, I am Alethea from New York, more specifically Long Island, and I am looking forward to this. I am going to be a senior and have recently become more and more interested in politics and always really liked diplomacy. I have done a little bit of research, but not much, but I plan to do more. The actual thing seems pretty interesting. Well I look forward to seeing you all there!
