I live in chillicothe, which is near Peoria, which is pretty much smack dab in the center of illinois along the lovey illinois river where the occasional dead body is found. my town has about 6,000 people in it and last year, my high school's population was 666, excluding the three odd foreign exchange students. Yup, my school is surrounded by cornfields, as is my nieghborhood. It's kind of boring but it is a nice place to live.

i am in marching band... play the clarinet. i love marching band. this time last year i was in Phoenix with my band for the fiesta bowl. it rained the whole week we were there, but overall it was a really fun trip. i guess our band is pretty good, but we weren't so good this past year. too many freshmen that, to put it politely, shouldn't be in marching band.

anyway... it is hard for me to shut up when i get atarted about marching band. yes, i am the ultimate band geek. i am also in (dare i say this???) scholastic bowl aka quiz bowl, knowledge bowl, or whatever your area calls it. i am not a pathetic loser geeky person--not that anyone in s-bowl is--but we are stereotyped that way... actually i don't know why i am in s-bowl, because i never get any of the questions anyway. oh well. it is fun.

i occasionally do theater.

and i was in track last spring.

and those are about all my school related activites...
