I'm considering joining the marines eventually anyway so i'm pretty sure i'm going to quantico. We are going there anyway according to one of the programs though. So i dunnoooo.. I'm real excited about this experience.

DEF going to something with the military, if not quantico then pentagon.

Anyway, didnt get to make a long post about me;

once again a texan from katy, 16, enjoy playing military strategy games such as AAO and C&C etc... i'm just a crazy, spazzy chick who loves strategy and logic. I hope to meet some of you guys at the conference. AIM is backboardshot89 . Hope you all enjoy this thing as much as i will.

EDIT: Stuff about me and school.. I'm in theater (woo) i used to play sports but theater and academics consumed my life. I love debatingw ith people, just not being in debate class. I'm pretty active in politics in my region, i lean toward the republican party but i'm pretty open minded and will listen to you if you have a sound and logical opinion. (haha..) I play a lot of instruments but i'm not in band. i hope there are some more people from texas going, it'll suck being the only texan there. Most people pick on us for our accents, but i dont have one so nice try. I do say "yall" in almost every sentence. so there.

anyway i cant really think of anything else interesting to post up.

What's up my name is Addison and i'm from Virginia. I am attending the NYLF DID from Feb 14-19. I'm 17 and a senior in High School. Next year i'm going to Texas A&M University and majoring in Aerospace Engineering. I am pretty much a down to earth southern guy and into anything. Send me some information about yourself if you're attending the same dates.

Nice to meet you sarah, i've actually applied for an Air Force ROTC scholarship and am slated to join the Corps of Cadets at A&M next fall. Good luck with the academy i looked at going there but decided it wasn't really for me. I put alot of thought into going to the naval academy but then decided i wanted Air Force not navy. So i'm kind of getting the best of both worlds at A&M. If you don't get into the academy WVU is a sweet place. My best friends brothers both went there one for law school the under for both undergrad in engineering and grad in engineering. So if you want some good WVU connections let me know. What do you mean by not your typical jersey girl? oh do you live anywhere near Robbinsville NJ?

I go to West windsor-plainsboro north (2 towns w/ 2 high schools - 1 district)
I'm not sure about which colleges I'll be applying to -- still figuring all of that out...
What kind of racing?

all you silly northern people. its all about the south Razz.

Y'know i didn't notice this till recently, but we're starting this whole thing on valentine's day. I wonder if we'll spot any cupid-shot people wandering DC.

Sorry for all the randomness here, but once again.. I wonder if we'll see the cherry blossom trees while we're up there. It's my favorite type of tree, and i'd hope that i wouldnt miss that. They should be in bloom soon as well.

A question, since I'm from Texas it's really hot down here usually. Normally during the winter it's never too cold so I just wear a T-shirt and maybe a hoody or jacket. But from what I'm told, it will be freezing up in DC. I kinda don't know if I should be bringing more long sleeves or what.

yea i live about 40 minutes from DC so like if anyone wants to know what it's been like the week before we go im me and i'll let you know. but basically this area is really weird like today it was supposed to be 55 degrees and it was about 20 with the windchill making it like 15. so it can be cold but all last week it was like 65. so like i said im me the week before and i'll tell you what the current conditions are gonna be but expect temps around the 30's.
