I went to a conference like this over the summer and believe me the experience is priceless. I made so many friends that I still keep in contact with and plan to meet up with, and I also learned so much about something I didn't think I would find interesting (diplomacy). Now I plan on majoring in it in college! By the end of the week in DC i doubt you'll be regretting spending the $2,000. I'm going to the Jan 31-Feb 5 session! See ya'll in 24 days

I know what you mean. It is very expensive. It's costing me a lot of money. However, I'm fairly sure it will be worth however much it costs. I did get all my tuition paid with the scholarship, but it's about another 1000 with airfare, clothing, food money, and all that. I still can't believe I'm really doing this. . .but its real enough I suppose. As everyone else has said, I do think its worth it and I'm looking forward to it. See you all there!

Extremely expensive. I was somewhat scared when I saw the price. But hey, from what I've read on these boards, it should be a good experience

I agree with teemu, but from what I've heard from my friends who've gone, you can't put a price on the experience.
