Hey there all, I hope I don't look like a geek for being the first to post in the educational section, but I'm curious if any other former NYLF attendees will be going to school with me. I'm off to the University of Chicago. Were are the rest of you off to?

Hey! I almost applied to University of Chicago! However, I'll be off to Columbus, OH to attend the Ohio State University. I got really lucky this year because I found out that one of my best friends from the east coast is going there too..I wont be so alone as a freshman on OSU's giant campus!

Hey Hobbit. Chicago is an awesome city, I'm sure you'll have fun and lots of doors will be opened for you. I almost went to school out there, but did a year at Hillsdale College and now will be a transfer sophomore at Frostburg State University in Maryland. Best of luck to everyone and if you all have questions about how freshman year is, let me know. Danielle

Hey Danielle, thanks for the wishing of luck and encouragement about Chicago. I'm coming from a tiny rural town, so its a bit spooky, but I'm still very excited for it.

whats up everyone. I am off to the university of Arizona.
OK yall, I'm a Senior in High School( in UTAH! ) and the college application process is so stressful. I'm applying to Boston College, Boston University, Tufts University, University of Oregon, American University, and last but not least, Georgetown University. I'm going into International Relations, the I hope to go to Law School. I'm going through enough stress to pass around to the population of China . Seriously. Any tips from all yall in college already?

nice choices for college Maya. Me personally im going to stay in florida for a 4yr bachelors degree, move on and get a masters or a Law degree (id rather get a law degree 1st, then go for a masters then a PhD.). I dont believe their is a justifiable point in spending 20-30 grand a year for an undergrad when i can spend 5-10grand a year, stay in my home town while getting good grades then finally going for graduate school, but thats my personal preference. More power to you all. I have to start sending out applications, just need ALITTLE more community service and SAT scores (or ACT, i like that alittle more).
Im hoping FSU, UF, or USF for undergrad then georgetown, Duke, FSU, University of Boston, william & mary, or maybe even yale (if i get the $$$ and grades.)

I am a Junior in High School in Colorado and I hope to get into the University of Alaska Fairbanks...people say I'm crazy for wanting to go there, but they have the best Rifle team in the Nation and they also offer a Pre-Law program...so yeah...them I'm going to go into law school, most likely Denver University Law, and after that, apply for a direct commission into the Navy...I'm going to be a Navy JAG...
