Hey, I'm Alli and I live in TX but have recently moved from CT. I think this is great that we get to talk to people before November!

Hey guys. I'm so glad we can talk too. Wouldn't it be funny if we ended up in the same room? I can't wait to go. I've been telling all my teachers that I'll be needing my work and it is still a while off. So who recommended you guys? My youth court teacher did. I also hope someone posts who will be flying through Atlanta because it would be so cool if we ended up on the same flight. I'd feel better knowing someone else would be as lost in the airport as me. So what do you guys do as far as hobbies, extracurriculars, stuff like that?

That would be pretty crazy if we ended up rooming together. As far as I know, I was invited to the program due to my PSAT scores/survey because none of my teachers had any idea what this program was. I live outside of Dallas, so who knows whether I end up having a connecting flight somewhere, but I do agree, it would be much better getting lost in a huge airport with someone else. I am captain of my school's dance team, on student council, NHS, debate team and a community youth leadership group outside of school. I'm a junior this year, what about you guys?

I'm a junior. Another debator, awesome! I'm Captain and Congress Officer of my Speech and Debate Team, Vice President of the Model United Nations Team, part of the Academic team, Youth Court, Drama Club, Junior Board once that starts, and the Foreign Language Club. Outside of school I'm a member of the Coastal Carolina Corvette Club and help put on charity car shows for battered women.

Charleston doesn't have direct flights. You either have to go through Atlanta or Cincinatti. I'm going through Atlanta both ways. I'm arriving in Washington Dulles. So I guess I won't see you until the actual forum.

Somewhere around 12:40. I get to take the 6am flight out of Charleston then sit in Atlanta forever and with my luck it'll be longer. I always seem to get a plane that breaks or is hit by lightning or some other anomoly to hold me up. Guess I'm just unlucky.

So, Mr. Perfect, are you going through Atlanta? I'm still searching for someone else who will be as lost as me.

I arrive in Washington around 3:20 pm on the 14th. This will be my first time traveling on an airplane alone without my parents! so i am excited...I am a little worried about missing 4 days of school..but it's okay I don't think my teachers will mind.
